Signs of life
Just a little post to say that I’m still alive and knitting, just busy with life and enjoying summer on top of it all! I’ve been working on getting a weekly knitting group at my church off the ground (more on that in another post) and my triumph of the month: I’ve talked my boyfriend into braving the crazy knitters and going to Stitch ‘n Pitch with me next month. At first the reassurance that there would still be baseball and beer wouldn’t sway him, but when I told him there would be baseball, beer and me, that’s when he caved. Sucker… 
Packing it up
I’m going on a short knitting and blogging hiatus; I discovered last week that I need to be out of my apartment in two months, and amazingly enough I found a new place within just a few days. I’d like to be moved out of my old place by the end of the month, which means this week is going to be super busy with packing, moving, cleaning, etc. (I am so glad I took the time a few months ago to organize and store my stash in plastic bins!!) I may have to take a wee bit of time in the midst of all that to knit and keep myself sane, but it won’t be much!

Watch the video of her knitting. Her fingers are just flying! I can’t imagine being able to knit that fast. But then again, I haven’t been knitting for over fifty years yet, either. Hmm, maybe someday…
